Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Department of Veterans Affairs on behalf of the Lexington VA Medical Center by way of the Franklin R. Sousley Campus has a requirement for a contractor to replace Hot Water Boilers in buildings 2,3, and 4, along with any necessary ancillary equipment. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and expert supervision needed to demolish the existing boilers in buildings 2, 3 and 4; replacing them with new. Contractor shall be responsible for the disposal of all recycle waste, spoils, or excess. NAICS code 238220 is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $19M. The product service code (PSC) is Z1DZ. This will be a 100% set-aside procurements for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 United States Code (U.S.C) section 8127 (d). The small business size standard is $19M. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or before May 31, 2025. No questions will be responded to until such time that the solicitation has posted. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
