Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development; for paving for a religious / funeral development; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Somerset County (for the Lexington Cemetery Association) is requesting proposals for the paving of a parking area between the Long Falls Dam Rd and the Cemetery fence. The entire area will be approximately 542 sq. yds (estimated 46 cubic yds) It measures approximately 610' x 8'. The Highway Opening Permit #156139 has been received by the County. Contact Wright Pinkham (1480 Long Falls Dam Rd, Lexington) (207-628-2916) for questions on the project site. 1. Scope of work to be performed by the Contractor. A) The ground will need to be prepared for paving. This will include removing the sod, adding any needed gravel (2 inches estimated), leveling prior to paving. B) Grind a joint along the matching edge of the Long Falls Dam Road. C) Pave the area with 2 inches of 3/4 base asphalt, apply tack and add 1 inch of 3/8 surface asphalt D) This new pavement needs to have a 2% cross slope for proper drainage. E) All work shall be done between June19, 2025 and October 1, 2025 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
