Brief Description of Work: This Contract provides for the maintenance of various streets located in Oakesdale, Washington. Street maintenance will include 51,330 square yards of single chip seal, 18,527 square yards of double chip seal, 12,870 square yards of scrub sealing, 4,845 square yards of pavement pulverization, 1,639 square yards of chip patch, 87,572 square yards of fog seal, and other miscellaneous items of work. Bids must be completed on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the BID PROPOSAL. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the same time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Town of Oakesdale. All work performed on this project will be subject to the state prevailing wage rates. The Town of Oakesdale is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
