Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority (the "Authority" or "RDU") invites proposals from qualified consultants (may also interchangeably referred to as "Contractors," "Offerors," "Respondents," "Bidders," "Proposers," "Vendors," and/or "Consultants" throughout this RFP) to provide RWIS Preventative Maintenance. The Authority is seeking a consultant whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely and cost-effective services to the Authority. To provide annual preventative maintenance for the RWIS (Runway Weather Information System). The Preventative Maintenance will consist of an inspection of all sites on the airfield, functional checks, adjustments, replacement of failed components and cleaning in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's published guidelines and requirements. Written reports containing observations and actions taken during Preventative Maintenance visit(s) are to be provided by the technician. The field technician performing the Preventative Maintenance should have all the certifications and licenses required. The Authority's intent is to award a five (5) year contract to one firm to provide the requested services.
