Intending to support the current and long-term medical needs of the communities served, University of Utah Health envisions an expansion of inpatient, peri-operative, procedural, allied health and support services that will integrate with existing hospital services on the main campus. The expansion will address current capacity pain points and meet projected future needs, ensuring that we can continue to deliver exceptional patient care. The new facility will be located on the site of the former School of Medicine Building, a strategic choice that allows for optimal integration with our existing infrastructure. The initial contract award will be for programming only. After satisfactory completion of the programming, the University may award design services to the programming consultant. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all submittals or to waive any formality or technicality in any submittal in the interest of the University.
