The work involves the cleaning and televising of approximately 26,000 linear feet of sanitary sewers and the repair, adjustment and lining of several manholes in Adams Township, Valencia Borough, Mars Borough and Richland Township Project Location: Mars Borough, Valencia Borough and Adams Township, Butler County, and Richland Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Exact location of Project is as indicated on the Location Map. 1.02 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. General Statement Concerning Work Covered: The following statements of the Work (the word Work as defined in the General Conditions) covered by the Contract Documents do not constitute complete descriptions of the entire Work involved. The Work to be performed is as specified throughout the Project Manual and as indicated on the Drawings. B. Without intending to limit or restrict the extent of Work required under (each) Contract the Work generally comprises: 1. The work involves the cleaning and televising of 26,600 LF of sanitary sewer line throughout the Breakneck Creek Regional Authority service area. 2. Cleaning and internal inspection work will be performed on 8-inch, 10-inch, 12- inch, 21-inch and 24-inch diameter sanitary sewer. 3. Miscellaneous repairs of sanitary sewer line as determined necessary by the internal inspection of the sewer lines. Such repairs of the sewer line shall be an additional cost and it is understood that repair costs cannot be included in the Bid 4. Locating and raising manholes as indicated. 5. Lining of several manholes at locations indicated with a specified coating system. 6. Restoration, incidental and miscellaneous work. 7. See schedule of work attached to this Specification Section. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Bank Check or Bid Bond, in the required form as stated in the Project Manual, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Total.
