Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 500-square-foot educational facility.
proposals to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation for the select renovations to The ECO Center Kitchen Renovation. The project includes renovation of a 500 sq. ft. area to be a concession kitchen. The work consists of the following: The renovation of an interior space within an existing building. The renovation area will be turned into a concession kitchen and vending area that will serve the building. The basic scope of work is defined as follows: 1. Select demolition of the interior space defined in the drawing set. A small amount of demolition will be required. 2. The renovated area will receive all new kitchen equipment, paint, and front counter casework. The front counter casework is being designed and provided by the owner. The owner will coordinate this work. 3. The proposed interior finishes consist of cleaning, priming, and painting the existing CMU walls and gypsum walls and new rubber wall base. 4. All kitchen equipment will be provided by the GC and installed by the GC. The GC will be responsible for the utility hook-ups and rough ins located in the construction documents. 5. This project does not involve any structural work. 6. The HVAC work consists of the demolition and relocation of (1) return grille and (1) exhaust grille. A dryer exhaust duct is also added next to the ice machine 7. The plumbing work consists of the domestic hot/cold water supply and sanitary/vent piping serving the new kitchen equipment. The equipment includes a hand sink, mop sink, and triple bowl sink. An ice machine with a domestic cold-water line and a floor sink is also included. A surface mounted drain box will be provided with water hammer-arrested domestic hot/cold lines and an indirect drain for the clothes washer. 8. The electrical work consists of providing power to new kitchen equipment from the existing panelboard PK. Existing panelboard PK is fed from existing transformer T1C, which does not have primary means of disconnect Question Deadline 06/11/2025 at 12:00 PM ET All questions are due to the Architect at jdoerr@millsgrouponline .com with response back to the contractors no later than Thursday, June 12, 2025 by 4:00 pm. A Bid bond executed by a surety company acceptable to East Central Ohio Educational Service Center in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a Contract, if given the award. No Bid may withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Any contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The East Central Ohio Educational Service Center (OWNER) reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
