Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The successful bidders will be required to furnish both performance and labor/material payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price, and certificates of comprehensive general liability, automobile liability and worker's compensation insurances. All bidders must possess a State of Ohio Business License prior to bid. A The certified check, bank draft or bid bond shall be forfeited to Belmont-Harrison Vocational School District as a measure of liquidated damages should the bidder fail or refuse to execute the contract within ten (10) days following written notification of acceptance. The bid bond or check of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned when an award is made; that of the successful bidder will be returned when the contract, bonds and insurance requirements are received and approved. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. Completion time is critical to these projects and may be a condition of bid selection. Total completion time for each project is Forty Five (45) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The Belmont-Harrison Vocational School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids must be marked on the outside of each envelope with all applicable project information.
