Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.
The contractor is required to carefully plane around all manholes, water valves, and catch basins in the designated areas set for planing. All such appurtenance outside of the planed areas shall be adjusted to grade by the contractor with risers supplied by the City. All such appurtenances shall be field-marked by the City before the bid. Spot plane a 1.5" to 2.00" butt joint all paved driveways intersections, parking pads, asphalt curbs, etc. Butt joints must match existing pavement with transition aprons as needed, e.g. start transition on 5' back. Mill and pave. The contractor must complete the work by August 31st, 2025.. Liquidated damages for $500.00 per day shall be applied for failure to complete the job in the period specified above. All bidders must be ODOT prequalified.
