**As of June 13, 2025, the paving project was awarded to New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. for $55,801.80 and Seal Coating to Quaker Sales for $46,280.25 with a total award amount of $102,082.05** 2025 for the following: ITEM 1 420 TON Super pave Wearing Course, 9.5mm, in place ITEM 2 198 TON Super pave Scratch and Leveling Course, 9.5mm, in place ITEM 3 20,569 S.Y. Single Sealcoat with RS-2PM(E-2M)/ CRS-2PM (E-3m) PHASE #1= ITEMS 1-2 PHASE #2= ITEM 3 PHASES TO BE BID AND AWARDED SEPERATELY The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage ACT applies to this project only if the bid amount exceeds $100,000. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. Forother municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of thecontract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves theright to reject any or all proposals.
