Site work for a water / sewer project in Lumberton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the following major items: 1. Demolition of existing suction lift pump system 2. Modification of existing wet well and discharge piping to accommodate new duplex submersible pump system 3. Installation of new duplex submersible pump system 4. Associated electrical construction BABAA De Minimis, Small Grants, and Minor Components Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages bidding by small, minority and female contractors and does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status. Bids from qualified disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) are encouraged. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract.
