Description: The new 7,351 SF Medical Suite addition will be constructed adjacent to and directly connected with the existing Robeson County Detention Center. The program includes health administration offices, a records room, a conference room, and offices for social workers. Medical and dental exam rooms will support updated health services, along with a lab, blood draw area, in-house pharmacy, and medication preparation space. The suite also provides a group counseling room for mental health services, two secure inmate observation rooms, and a dedicated inmate restroom/shower. Modern access control and security hardware will be included throughout. The suite is located on the existing Detention Center site and will allow for direct vehicular and paramedic access when needed.
