Renovation of a military facility in Concord, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Awards will be made based on a competitive scoring process and are subject to the approval of the Agency and the Governor and Executive Council. This is a competitive application process. Agency staff will review all proposalsfor eligibility. A panel of NH Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services staff and one or more members from outside the Agency will review and score all eligible applications. a. Experience and Resources (1-5 points): Proposals will be evaluated on how well they establish that the venue and those responsible for management of the event have the sufficient resources, experience and capabilities to manage a project of this scope and size. Considerations include: whether the venue hosted an event this size and duration before; will there be specific points of contact provided to the Agency; and how many personnel will be assigned to this event (i.e. banquet manager, sufficient waitstaff, dedicated audio visual support person). Proposals on proposed event date of November 6, 2025, will be rated higher. b. Location (1-15 points): Proposals will be evaluated on the venue's accessibility to major highways and proximity to the Manchester, Concord, Nashua and Seacoast regions. c. Venue (1-35 points): Proposals will be evaluated on the venue's ability to meet the following criteria i. Facility Space: o One (1) meeting room to accommodate approximately up to 100 people for Plenary Address(es) and panels to include: podium; one (1) six-foot table with linen, two (2) chairs; one (1) eight-foot table with linen, six (6) chairs for panelists; and one (1) six-foot table with linen for materials/resources. o Said one (1) room is available to serve breakfast and lunch for approximately up to 100 people. Breakfast and lunch need to be served to the entire attendance at the same time in the same space. This room should set be banquet style with tables (including linens) and chairs. o Please indicate the layout of the room to be utilized, including specific setup and capacity, taking into consideration the audio-visual setup to be viewable to all attendees. o Registration area outside of meeting room to accommodate one (1) six-foot table with linens, four (4) chairs and a wastebasket. o A reasonable space (including tables and chairs) to assemble and store conference materials the day prior. o Setup, transition and cleanup of the rooms prior to, during and after the event will be the responsibility of the vendor. The New Hampshire Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services, Division of Community Based Military Programs (hereinafter "the Agency"), is seeking proposals for the 2025 New Hampshire Veteran-FriendlyBusinessAnnual Symposium. This conference is a one-day event, and the Agency anticipates approximately 75-100 business professionals will attend. The services sought include facility space, parking accommodations, audio-visual equipment with support services, and food/beverage. The purpose of this event is to convene representativesfrom NH Veteran-Friendly Businessesfor highlevel presentations and panel discussions with federal, state, and local Departments, Agencies, organizations, associations, and businesses in order to provide essential information related to supporting the mental health and wellness of Veteran employees in the workplace and effectively recruiting and retaining veteran employees in the Granite State workforce.
