Furnish and install approximately 1,800 sq ft of specific chemical resistant and seamless lab grade epoxy flooring at the Forensic Biology area of the Lab, at 33 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH. Furnish and install approximately 1,800 sq ft of resinous flooring system (Dura-Quartz Resinous Flooring and/or Dura-Chip Resinous Flooring) with two ACCELERA coats. The application to take place as follows: Shot blasting and dust free grinding will prepare the concrete substrate. Apply the flooring system per manufacturer's instructions. A keyway will be cut for the transition at doorways and drains as needed. The finish will be non-skid and matte. Vendor to provide ventilation as needed during the installation. This specific flooring must be chemical resistant and seamless. A seamless design is important for a forensic DNA lab because it significantly reduces the risk of contamination and makes cleaning and maintenance easier. The absence of seams prevents the accumulation of dirt, dust, and other contaminants which will ensure a sterile and safe environment for DNA analysis.
