**As of August 20, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 02nd, 2025.** Emergency Repairs on Traffic Lights Bid Security If a bid security is required with the bid, the bidder must upload a copy of the certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the County of Atlantic. The original document must be received by the County of Atlantic Purchasing Office no later than 5 business days after the close of bids. If the successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement and furnish the required Performance Bond within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award, the check or bond of the successful bidder shall be forfeited as liquidated damages and the County may annul the Notice of Award. Performance Bond The Bidder that is awarded a contract shall, simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The surety on such bond or bonds shall be a duly authorized surety company authorized to issue performance bonds in the State of New Jersey Question Deadline 06/09/2025 Any questions concerning this specification must be submitted in writing through online.
