The Crooked River RanchSpecial Road District ("District")in Jefferson County, Oregonseeks bids from qualifiedcontractors for the 2025 QuailRoad Maintenance Project. Theproject generally consists ofminimal grinding, leveling courseand final overlay onapproximately 3.7 miles ofexisting road known as QuailRoad within the boundaries ofCrooked River Ranch SpecialRoad District under District'sjurisdiction, all traffic control, andinstallation of centerline "stompdots" All District contracts contain astatement declaring the bidderagrees to comply with theprovisions of ORS 279C.800through 279C.870 regardingpayment of prevailing wages.TheDistrict's contract contains aclause which incorporates byreference all of the provisions ofORS Chapter 279C which areapplicable to public contracts.Bidders are expected to befamiliar with these provisionsincluding, but not limited to,recent changes to ORS Chapter279C. No bid will be received orconsidered unless the bidder islicensed by the ConstructionContractors Board forconstruction projects andprequalified by ODOT for asphaltconcrete paving and oiling andtemporary traffic control. A 10%bid bond, certified check, orcashier's check must accompanyeach bid on all projects and willbe forfeited if the bidder fails toenter into a contract with theDistrict within 10 days after thedate of the Notice of Award. District reserves the right to rejectany bid not in compliance with allprescribed public biddingprocedures and requirements,including the requirement todemonstrate the Bidder'sresponsibility under ORS279C.375(3)(b). District reservesthe right to reject any and all bidsand to waive any informality in thebids if it is determined by theDistrict to be in the public interestto do so.
