Background The City of American Canyon is soliciting proposals from qualified Tree Servicing contractors to provide, tree pruning, canopy maintenance and adjustments, tree cutting, removal, and emergency call out work. Question Response Deadline: May 26, 2025, 3:00pm. RFI Submission Deadline: May 23, 2025, 5:00pm. Bid Security All Contract Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check payable to the order of the City of American Canyon, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a Bid Bond in said amount, on the form included within the Contract Proposal. Said check shall be forfeited, or said bond shall become payable, in case the Bidder depositing same does not complete the requirements as defined in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS in the time set forth herein below. Bonds The successful Contractor will be required to furnish, with the Agreement, a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price and a Payment for Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Agreement price. Award and Execution The Contractor shall execute required documents within seven (7) calendar days after the Notice of Award; shall begin work within five (5) calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed; and shall complete work within N/A working days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities, and to award the contract to other than the lowest Bidder. No Bidder may withdraw their Contract Proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
