Site work for a civil project in Asheboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The successful bidder will provide all services and miscellaneous materials to install a 180 gpm lift station and 2,450 LF of C900 force main. The City procured the pump station pumps and control panel, generator and ATS, and SCADA system with install. Contractor will supply wet well, valve vault, manholes, all piping valves, electrical components and appurtenances. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Should the bidder find discrepancies in, or omission from, the drawings or documents or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once notify the designer who will send written instructions in the form of addenda to all bidders. Notification should be no later than seven (7) days prior to the date set for receipt of bids. Neither the owner nor the designer will be responsible for any oral instructions. If the portion of the work to be executed by HUB certified/minority businesses as defined in GS143- 128.2(g) and 128.4(a),(b),(e) is equal to or greater than 10% of the bidders total contract price, then the bidder must complete this affidavit. This affidavit shall be provided by the apparent lowest responsible, responsive bidder within 72 hours after notification of being low bidder. All responses to RFI's will be made in writing and submitted to all bidders that have notified the Owner of their intent to submit a bid. Verbal responses will not be considered binding. Performance Bond and Payment Bond (Not required). No exceptions, unrequested additions or deletions, purported clarifications, and/or any other types of modifications of the proposed forms and specifications may be submitted with the bid. No information/documentation beyond what is specifically requested is to be submitted. Any proposal containing such exceptions or modifications will be deemed non-responsive, and, accordingly will not be considered.
