The City of Sandy Springs is requesting a traffic engineering evaluation of the intersection of Heards Ferry Road at Riverside Drive and the intersection of River Valley Road at Riverside Drive along with the Riverside Drive roundabouts at I-285. The City is seeking to determine if signal and/or geometric modifications are needed or if an alternative design (i.e. roundabout) is feasible. The Consultant shall provide a scope, schedule, and fee for a traffic study to determine the best type of intersection traffic control and lane configuration and prepare two concepts of intersection improvements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
