Bid Intent Deadline 08/08/2025 05:00 PM EDT The City of New Bedford, Purchasing Department, in conjunction with the New Bedford Public Schools is soliciting sealed bids for the New Bedford High School Guidance Office Suite Project located at 230 Hathaway Boulevard, New Bedford, Massachusetts 02740. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bid deposits may be in the form of Certified Check, Certificate of Deposit, or Bid Bond made payable to the City of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Awarded Bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the City. No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days, after the actual date of the opening thereof. The contract will be awarded within sixty (60) calendar days after the bid opening. The time for award may be extended by mutual agreement between the City and the awarded bidder.
