Elevator Maintenance for All City and School Elevators. The contract duration is three (3) years executing from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028 Question Deadline 06/02/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Every request for such interpretation should be addressed in writing to cphilpott@city.waltham.ma.us, and to be given consideration must be received by the identified Last Day for Questions located on the Cover sheet. Bid security for all general bidders and sub-bidders in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check, payable to the Owner, is required in the amount of Five (5%) percent of the total bid. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance and payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bidders must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management in the category of Elevators and bids must include a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement. The Bidder agrees that this bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 working days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded after the opening of bids. The right is reserved by the City of Waltham to reject any or all bids as may be deemed best for the interests of the City and the City of Waltham reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding.
