Brown School Abatement & Demolition Project No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The bidding and award of this contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L Chapter 149. Contract award is subject to the approval of the Mayor. The City reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the City. Newburyport is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser. DCAMM Certification is required in DEMOLITION. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27D inclusive Question Deadline Jul 04, 2025 Discrepancies, omissions or doubts as to the meaning of Specifications and drawings should be communicated at once to the CPO for interpretation. This request for clarification must be made in writing, via email (twatkins@newburyportma.gov), prior to the bid opening
