Construction of the S WELLS PFAS TREATMENT AND DISINFECTION FACILITY PROJECT. The project is located within and near Bridgeport Park, between Parkwood Lane and McBean Parkway, in the City of Santa Clarita, California. The project generally consists of site construction, building construction, pipeline installation, and equipment installation for groundwater treatment systems. The work includes, but is not limited to mobilization, demolition, and site excavation; well pump, discharge pipeline, and electrical modifications; installation of an ion exchange treatment system for PFAS treatment of S6, S7, and S8 wells; chemical storage/feed building installation; building construction; wall construction; electrical work; modifications to the well discharge pipeline at S6 Well; modifications to the lake fill line connection to Bridgeport Lake; modifications to the well collector pipeline to bring the well water to the treatment plan; a treated water pipeline from the treatment plant to the 16" distribution water pipeline in Newhall Ranch Road; the relocation of electrical feed and connections to Metropolitan Water District's electrical vault; and all associated work ("Work") as indicated in the Contract Documents.
