The Tree Trimming and Removal bid shall be for providing and operating miscellaneous equipment for the purposes of trimming trees and removing trees. All questions shall be directed to the jmackowiak@oxfordma.us. All bids for this contract are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts including but not limited to M.G.L. c30B 5. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum wage rates set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on this project. Attention is also called to the requirements relating to Workers Compensation and Conditions of Employment. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days (Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded) after the date of opening thereof. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids received, and to award the contract to any of the contractors bidding on the work if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so. The Town of Oxford is an affirmative action/equal opportunity owner/purchaser. The Town reserves the right to annually renew the Contract for one or two additional years if determined to be in the best interest of the Town to do so.
