These bids are invited for the dredging of Therville Drive Bayou in Jackson County, Mississippi. All Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a satisfactory Bid bond executed by Bidder and an acceptable surety, must be submitted in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of total bid. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. All Bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any work, must comply with Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972, by having a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Public Contractors. All bids submitted in excess of 550,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection, building, comtruction, repair, maintenance or related work, must comply with Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and have a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State of Mississippi Board of Contractors establishing his Classification as to the value and type of construction on which he is authorized to hid. The scope of work for this project shall require a Contractor to be classified in the following category: Dredging. Each Bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope before it can be opened. The outside of the envelope should also bear the Bidder's name, address, and name of the project for which the lid is submitted.
