Site work for a civil project in Palmer, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Description: Section 2 - Water Tower - (April 30, 2026 Substantial Completion) 1. Demolition of water tower roof and the top 3-feet of shell plate. 2. Installation of a temporary pressurized water system. 3. Contractor is responsible for providing calculations for complete structural loadings and connections. 4. Completion of structure modifications including the replacement of the roof in its entirety and the top 3-feet of shell plate. 5. Completion of surface repairs equivalent to 50 man-hours. 6. Completion of interior wet area abrasive blast and coating. 7. Completion of exterior area abrasive blast and coating. 8. Completion of lettering and logo. 9. Removal of temporary pressurized water system. 10. Contractor is responsible for other miscellaneous work to complete the project and bring the water tower in compliance with AWWA and OSHA. 11. Contractor is also responsible for the construction, erection, and maintenance of CDBG sign and required posters. Est. Completion Date: May 31, 2025
