The Town of Vail is seeking a qualified landscape contractor and/or turf professional to remove and replace nearly 14,000 square feet of bluegrass turf in Ford Park, Vail's premier community park. The work will occur in the area known as the "Lower Bench" and will consist of removing existing bluegrass, amending and tilling the soil, laser grading the area to match surrounding grades and installing new bluegrass sod. The preferred timeframe for the work is to begin on Monday, August 18th to allow adequate time for the roots to establish prior to the winter season. The schedule can be somewhat flexible if required. o Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid. o No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of thirty (30) days after Bid opening. o The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids.
