Renovation of a power facility in Kansas City, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The existing combustion turbine CT-4 at Nearman Power Station is to have its GE Mark VI controls upgraded to the latest available technology. The scope includes communication, hardware and software improvements. For detailed scope of work, see attached Technical Scope (SOW). The proposal shall be firm pricing, turnkey, and includes all Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). Bid Bond 5% Question Deadline 06/18/2025 Proposers may request additional information by submitting their questions via email to: Kurt Hafner (jbagby@bpu.com and purchasing@bpu.com by the date specified herein. All questions must be directed to the Department of Purchasing and Supply. Answers to all questions will be compiled and distributed through online as an addendum. The BPU reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and waive irregularities therein, and all Proposers agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the BPU for any penalty of any kind brought against the BPU because of such rejections.
