The work to be performed is at the following locations: WaterOne Kansas River Presed, 8715 Holliday Drive; Kansas City Kansas 66106, WaterOne Wolcott Surge Tank, 531 N. 118th St. Kansas City, KS 66012 and the WaterOne Missouri River Presed, 4340 N. 60th St, Kansas City, KS 66104. The listed quantities are for bid purposes only and the Contractor is responsible for field verifying all quantities. o The 2" Mill and Overlay approximately 5,018 FT2 +/- of existing asphalt paving at the WaterOne Kansas River Presed. o The 2" Mill and Overlay approximately 600 FT2 +/- of existing asphalt paving at the WaterOne Wolcott Surge Tank. o The 2" Mill and Overlay approximately 81,366 FT2 +/- of existing asphalt paving at the WaterOne Missouri River Presed. o Full depth replacement of approximately 1,380 FT2 +/- of existing asphalt paving at the WaterOne Missouri River Presed, (may include subgrade remediation). o Removal and Replacement of approximately 600 LF +/- of concrete curb at the WaterOne Missouri River Presed. o The removal and replacement of approximately 10' of existing curb, the addition/extension of approximately 30' of 12" retaining wall including the addition of 30' corresponding curb at the Missouri River Presed, Basin No. 4. o Unforeseen repairs including but not limited to irrigation and landscaping etc. All inquiries about the Invitation to Bid may be made by contacting Luke Kreimer, Engineer Technician II at WaterOne. Bids will only be accepted via the designated website from registered plan holders and will be an additional non-refundable fee of $42. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond (EJCDC Penal Sum Form) of 5% of the amount of the Bid. Bid security must accompany each Bid by uploading a PDF version of the Bid Bond . The Bid security shall be made payable, without condition, to Owner. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Public Works Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the contract. If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award a Contract to the Bidder who, in Owner's judgment, is the lowest, qualified, responsible, and responsive Bidder. Est. Completion Date: Dec. 18, 2025. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all erroneous, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder or all Bids if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder.
