The Project Includes the Following Work: All Labor, Equipment, Tools, Materials Necessary to Identify the Water Service Line (Sl) Materials of Both the Utilityowned Water Service Line (Between the Water Main and Meter Pit) and Customer Owned Water Service Line (Downstream of the Meter Pit) by Excavation at the Meter Pit in Accordance With the Contract Documents. All Excavations Will Be Performed Within the Columbus City Utilities Service Area Located in Columbus, in. Service Line Excavations and Material Identifications Will Be Performed at Up to Approximately 240 Sites Throughout the System. Contractor Shall Assume the Sites Will Be Evenly Distributed Throughout the System. Actual Site Locations Shall Be Determined by the Engineer and Columbus City Utilities Prior to the Start of Work. Contractor Shall Be Responsible for Excavation and All Restoration of the Site to Pre- Construction Conditions. Bids Are Requested for the Following Contract: Water Service Line Material Investigation Bid Security Bid Security Shall Be Furnished in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. The Designated Website Will Be Updated Periodically With Addenda, Lists of Registered Plan Holders, Reports, and Other Information Relevant to Submitting a Bid for the Project. All Official Notifications, Addenda, and Other Bidding Documents Will Be Offered Only Through the Designated Website.
