No definite date for the rebid.** Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the project known as woodland ave waterline and city of palo alto interconnect project pavement restoration work (the "project") Consisting of Excavation of dig-outs, Compaction Testing, Replacement of 6-inchces of subbase material , Install 6- inches of New Asphalt Concrete Pavement, traffic control and so on according to the City Standards. Bid Security - Bidder shall submit bid security with the bid in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount (Base Bid plus Alternates, if any) and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond issued by an admitted surety insurer authorized to conduct business in the State of California. The successful bidder shall furnish performance and payment (labor and materials) bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price (Base Bid plus Alternates, if any) and issued by an admitted surety insurer authorized to operate in the State of California. The only bonds acceptable to the City shall be those included with the bid documents. The successful bidder shall also maintain throughout performance of the work the insurance coverage specified in the bid documents.
