The project consists of the following: "In Place Paving" on various roads located in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County: 10,845 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA 180 lb/sy Wearing Course 42,241 LF 4" Double Yellow Center Line with Glass Beads All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders may be either a PENNDOT prequalified Prime or Sub Contractor and must supply proof of prequalification. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract and a certificate of liability insurance acceptable to the municipality prior to the start of any work The Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township. PA Prevailing Wages apply to the In Place Paving contract.
