Catoosa County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed written Proposals from qualified vendors to decommission and remove a 90-ft radio communication tower and associated attached equipment located at 875 Lafayette St, Ringgold, GA 30736. Instructions for preparation and submission of a proposal are contained in this packet. Proposals must be typed or printed in ink. Question Deadline 06/20/2025 at 12:00 PM ET All questions concerning this RFP and all questions arising prior to award are to be addressed via email to BidQuestions@catoosa.com. Responses and/or Addendum will be published on the Catoosa County Website on: Monday, June 23, 2025. Catoosa County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, to waive formalities, technicalities, or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary. Any Bid submitted in response to this Request shall remain open for acceptance by the Board, and same shall be honored by the contractor, for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set forth hereinabove for the receipt of Bids. The Contractor will decommission and remove a 90-ft radio communication tower and associated attached equipment located at 875 Lafayette St, Ringgold, GA 30736. The physical tower is located on the East side of the site near Jail Street. The Contractor shall remove the Ice Bridge and decommission the same as the tower. The cabling running into the structure shall be cut flush with brick and/or mortar joint. The County will handle any mounting holes left due to removal of bolts. The Contractor shall cut anchor bolts flush with concrete. (Concrete foundation will remain) The Contractor shall review site photos in Attachments #1-5. Photos are for informational purposes only. The County will remove the current Fiber cable connected to the tower prior to work beginning. The Contractor's bid shall be for all equipment, labor, and material necessary for removal. No equipment, labor, or materials shall be provided by Catoosa County. The Contractor can submit a bid to purchase the decommissioned radio tower and equipment. The County can use that bid as a credit against the labor, material and equipment cost. The Contractor shall provide all necessary traffic control devices and personnel to protect construction personnel and traveling public in accordance with MOSH/OSHA standards and the current edition of the MUTCD. It is the Contractor's responsibility of jobsite safety. The Contractor shall perform work within a standard workday (8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.).
