A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The proposed Work generally consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment as required to construct a 4.0 million gallon prestressed concrete potable water tank at the District's Kokila Reservoir. Work also includes but is not limited to draining remaining water in the reservoir and removing any sediment, removing and disposing of the existing Hypalon liner and cover, grading and compacting the site to the elevations shown on the Plans and Specifications, installing new drain and potable water pipelines, and other appurtenant work. All work is located on District property located just east of 6605 Sierra College Blvd, in Granite Bay. This project has been awarded a Federal grant and is being funded, in part, by the California Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program. The Contractor will be required to comply with State and Federal contract rules and regulations including requirements for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), American Iron and Steel (AIS), and Build American Buy America (BABA) Act. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed forms and accompanied by cash, a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form payable to the District in an amount not less than 10 percent of the amount bid. The District reserves the right to reject all bids. Any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents may be rejected. The District may extend the time to award the Contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond and faithful performance bond each in the full amount of the Contract price, and insurance with certificates and endorsements of insurance, as provided in the Contract Documents. The required bonds must be provided only by a surety insurer who is admitted to do business by and in good standing with the California Department of Insurance.
