Site work and renovation of a civil project in Granite Bay, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
“The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The project is expected to start construction in December 1, 2024.” The San Juan Water District (District), located at 9935 Auburn Folsom Road Granite Bay, California, 95746 is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services for the Water Treatment Plant Filter Backwash Hood Facilities Rehabilitation Project (Project). In general, the nature of the work involves the rehabilitation of the District's Water Treatment Plant's northwest and southwest filter backwash hood facilities including, but not limited to, the pump houses, backwash hoods, decks, crane bridges, bridge track systems, bridge drive systems, pumps, piping, valves, hydraulic system, coating, electrical instrumentation, disinfection, and start-up and testing. The work will be phased over two season (2024/2025 and 2025/2026), each between December 1 to May 1, in which one filter backwash hood facility will be rehabilitated in each season and be fully operational for use by District by May 1 of the that same season. The work is located at the District's Water Treatment Plant, located at 9935 Auburn Folsom Road, Granite Bay, CA. The purpose of the current scope of services is to have a Consultant provide construction management and inspection services during the construction of the Project. San Juan Water District (District) is seeking professional proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management and Inspection Services for the construction of the Water Treatment Plant Filter Backwash Hood Facilities Rehabilitation Project (Project). The Project is located at the District's Sidney N. Peterson Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Interested consultants are encouraged to develop a scope of work that addresses the District's needs and provides value and innovation. Optional tasks recommended by the consulting firm to save cost, or to enhance the work product or schedule should also be included in the proposal and shall be clearly identified as optional and/or alternative items. Fully describe any exceptions to the anticipated scope as outlined in the RFP and the assumptions used in developing the recommended scope of work and tasks. Identify information needs or work that the consultant expects to be completed by District staff. If there are no expectations of District staff effort listed for a task, the District will expect the task to be completed without any District staff time. The consulting firm selected for this Project will be required to provide the necessary equipment, materials, and labor to complete the following services.
