Carbon County Road Department (CCRD) is accepting sealed bids from properly licensed and insured contractors for application of asphalt preservation materials on Carbon County roadways. Bidders shall use their own bid form to submit a price-per-ton rate for installation of each of the following crack seal and mastic materials which will be provided by CCRD. All costs for mobilization, traffic control, labor, fuel, lodging, proper cleaning of cracks with compressed air, proper cleaning of road surfaces, proper placement and protection of materials, and all other aspects of completing the outlined work shall be included in price per ton bid. End Date: Anticipated contract period will be from date of award, expected in June 2025 to June 30, 2026. Please note on outside of the sealed envelope CCRD Asphalt Preservation Bid 2025 Carbon County is not responsible for bids that are received late due to delays in delivery by any source. Bids submitted via fax or email will not be accepted. Carbon County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality of any bid and to select the bid, which in the opinion of the County, provides the best product, warranty and/or service to the County. Prior to commencement of the contract, the bidder being awarded the contract will provide proof of Workers Compensation and General Liability Insurances.
