The Work Involves the Following Major Item(S): Phase Iv - Hedge Street Project is Approximately 765 Feet in Total Length and Involves the Following Major Items of Reconstruction on Hedge Street From Adams Street West Toward Main Street: Sewer, Water and Drain Improvements, Concrete Sidewalk Construction, Precast Concrete Curb, Roadway Pavement Reclamation, Grading and Paving. The Work is Estimated to Cost $700,000. The Award Will Be to the Lowest, Responsible, and Eligible Bidder. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond and Will Be Required to Execute the Contract Agreement Within Five (5) Days Following Notification of the Acceptance of His Bid. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Accept Any Bid, to Waive Any Informality on Bids Received, and to Omit Any Item or Items Deemed Advisable for the Best Interests of the Owner. All Costs Associated With the Preparation of the Bids Shall Be the Responsibility of the Bidder, Regardless of Whether or Not the Contract is Awarded. This Project is Being Funded in Part by a Cdbg 2024 Grant From the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development.
