The project is an approximately 3500 square foot, steel framed addition to the existing Crane Elementary School Gymnasium that will consist of, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Stem wall & footing foundation, concrete slab-on-grade floor, 110 foot x 32 foot metal building (previously purchased), Turn key office, hallway, classrooms and restroom additions w/ fire suppressant, heating/cooling, etc and sidewalk from front of multi-purpose room to connect to back of current elementary sidewalk. The project will be a prevailing wage rate job, subject to the BOLI Wage Rates set forth by the State of Oregon. All bids must be submitted on the supplied forms. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid will be required with the submission of the bid. CRANE SCHOOLS will award the contract within five (5) calendar days of the bid opening. Work will commence within ten (10) calendar days of the notice to proceed. The contractor shall complete all work required in the contract within a reasonable time as material availability and delivery allows. The estimated cost range for the project: $889,000 to $1,200,000. CRANE SCHOOLS may reject any late bid and may reject, for good cause, any or all bids upon a finding of CRANE SCHOOLS that it is in their best interest to do so. The bidder must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
