Harney Union High School District 1J (referred to as "District") invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the construction of continuous fencing for barnyard fence. The fence will cover a length of 3,500 feet and be a minimum of 5 feet high. This project must be completed by March 1, 2024. The fencing must meet the following quality specifications: o Length: 3,500 linear feet o Height: Minimum 5 feet Horizontal bars: 3 to 7 crossbars Material: Durable materials suited for agricultural use (e.g., metal, or high-strength synthetic options) o Design: Secure continuous fencing with no sharp edges, safe for livestock and students Gates: Include access gates as per map attached (minimum width of 14-16 feet each). Alleyway gates to be smaller as per attached map. Scope of Work The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Site preparation, including clearing and grading as necessary. 2. Installation of fence posts in concrete at appropriate intervals to ensure stability. 3. Installation of fencing material as per agreed specifications. 4. Construction of gates with secure, easy-to-operate latches. 5. Clean-up and removal of any construction debris from the site 6.
