As of August 04, 2025, an award has not yet been made. Per the owner, bid results will not be made available until after the award is announced. No time-frame is available for when this project will be awarded. The work to be performed under this contract includes the installation of one (1) 233,000 gallon, glass fused to steel, above-ground water storage tank with an aluminum geodesic dome top and the installation of a tank foundation on Block 34, Lot 4, adjacent to the existing 1.0 million gallon water storage tank off Ridge Road in Roseland, NJ. Principal items of work in the project include: L.S. Water Storage Tank (includes foundation) 210 L.F. 8 inch Ductile Iron Watermain 190 L.F. 12 inch Reinforced Concrete Drainage Pipe The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed within 500 calendar days of notice to proceed. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%)percent of the amount bid and, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder,addressed to the Owner and labeled for the RIDGE ROAD AUXILIARY WATER STORAGE TANK. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.10, or other applicable law; to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder, as per N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-1, et seq.
