All bidders shall make inspection andstudies of the site of the work to familiarize themselves with allconditions to be encountered. All bidders shall conform to the requirements of Arkansas CodeAnnotated 17-25-101, Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law forContractors. All contractors mustbe licensed on the day of the bid submittal. According to theArkansas Contractor’s LicensingBoard, this project will require a contractor’s license. There shallbe only one bid submitted perState Contractors license. Bidderswill be required to indicate licensenumber on bid form beneath signature when bidding $20,000.00or more. Bid security is requiredin the form of a Bid Bond orcashier’s check drawn upon abank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, in an amountequal to 5% of the contract sum, and payable to the Little RockConvention and Visitors Bureau. Arkansas Statutory Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the Contract, will berequired of the bidder awardedthe Contract. No bid may be withdrawn for aperiod of 30 days after the opening of bids. This invitation does not commit the Owner to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of bids. The Commission reserves theright to waive informalities, rejectany or all bids and to accept thebid deemed to serve the best interest of the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission.
