Renovation of a water / sewer project in Little Rock, Arkansas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Arkansas Department of Health is soliciting responses from qualified consultants to provide Professional Engineering design services as defined by the TSS Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards and Criteria (MSC) for Central Chilled and Heating Water Replacement and Renovations located at 4815 West Markham Street in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Description of the work to be accomplished includes demolition of the existing steam heating plant and chilled water plant, installation of new Owner-furnished water chillers, new heating water plant boilers, and all pumps, valves, piping, HVAC controls, and electrical service, connected to the existing facility to improve reliability, functionality, and efficiency of operations which serve Arkansas citizens. A detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) package will be provided to interested parties outlining the submittal requirements and selection methodology. Responses received for this RFQ will be used to screen prospective consultants and select finalists for interview in accordance with the MSC. The Agency reserves the right to award one or more contracts under this solicitation and to negotiate fees on a percentage basis, lump sum basis or an hourly not-to-exceed basis on individual project assignments, as appropriate for the contemplated work.
