award the bids for the following: Option #1- Provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to perform road surface reprofiling on approximately 5.1 road miles on various township roads. Provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to perform a triple seal coat over the reprofiled portion of the roadways. Option #2- Provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to perform mix paving on approximately 5.1 road miles of various township roads. All materials must be placed in one (1) pass. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Municipality. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $100.00 per calendar day. The bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to Henry Clay Township. Work is subject to State requirements governing payment of prevailing wages. Amounts are approximate. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any portion thereof.
