Site work and paving for a road / highway in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids will be accepted for the following: Placement of approximately 37,795 sq.yds., more or less, Superpave HMA 12.5 mm wearing course, 64s-22 asphalt at 2" depth. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Municipality. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $100.00 per calendar day. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to Henry Clay Township. Work is subject to state requirements governing payment of prevailing wages. Amounts are approximate. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any portion thereof. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
