Site work for a road / highway in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The project includes the replacement or modifications to pad-mounted signal cabinet, 18" riserand all related equipment and appurtenances and replacement of all pre-emption detectors and LED confirmation lights and existing radar detectors and harnesses, replacement of signal heads, mounting hardware and reflective back plates at E College Ave / Decibel Rd and at E College Ave / Shiloh Rd. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to College Township. Bid must also be accompanied with an Anti-Collusion Affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification and Affidavit accepting provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Act. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each representing One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract amount. The CT Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Any questions relating to this request for bid proposal shall be referred to Amy J. Kerner, P.E., Public Works Director, by email at akerner@collegetownship.org. Questions must be received by noon on Wednesday August 20, 2025. SCOPE OF WORK: This project includes the replacement of the pad-mounted signal cabinet & 18 inch riser including replacement of all cabinet equipment and all related equipment and appurtenances at the intersection of East College Avenue / Decibel Road (CT-11). Also included at this intersection, is the installation of a Tomar pre-emption detection system and LED confirmation lights and install Wavetronix Detection System with new Wavetronix detectors, and all harnesses. Replace all traffic signal heads and mounting hardware including reflective back plates. All signal cabinets shall have dual fans, (2) four gang receptacles and a new generator cord. The project includes the modification of the pole-mounted signal cabinet to a pad mount cabinet with 18 inch riser including replacement of all cabinet equipment and all related equipment and appurtenances at the intersection of East College Avenue / Shiloh Road (CT-20) to include Wavetronix detection system, and all harnesses. Installation of a Tomar pre-emption detection system (3-way) and LED confirmation lights. Replace all traffic signal heads and mounting hardware including reflective back plates and install new pedestrian signal heads and push buttons with signs. All signal cabinets shall have dual fans, (2) four gang receptacles and a new generator cord. By submitting a proposal, the bidder indicates that they have read this specification and can competently perform the work as described. It is recommended bidders visit sites prior to submitting a bid
