The project is expected to be awarded on October 6th, 2025. ** This project consists of profile roadway milling and overlay, pavement base repairs, curb/gutter, and driveway aprons on various streets in the Borough as shown and indicated on the Contract Drawings. Each bid is to be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid and made payable to the Borough of State College. All bids will be presented to State College Borough Council at a public meeting. Borough Council may then accept or reject any or all bids or hold all bids for a period of 45 days from the date of Bid Opening before making a decision. Bids shall remain irrevocable for 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants; in which case, bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved Nov. 26, 1978. The work will be complete with all excavation and filling, protective work, required materials, traffic maintenance, and restoration of surfaces as required by this specification and the accompanying plans and will be accomplished consistent with the said soil erosion and sedimentation control plan which is made a part of this specification.
