Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bonifay, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Construction of a new aircraft apron to support a future hangar. The work shall include grading and drainage improvements, asphalt and/or concrete paving, and related improvements. Question Deadline 06/30/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of these Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer The contract time for substantial completion of the work included shall be 150 calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed (NTP)." The final project completion shall be 180 calendar days from the date of the "Notice to Proceed (NTP)." Bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total quote must be submitted with the quote. The quote security may be either a certified check or a proposal guaranty bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Quote security shall be made payable to the Tri-County Airport Authority. The successful contractor must be able to furnish proof of required insurance, a 100% Performance Bond, and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond, and shall begin execution of this contract within five (5) calendar days following the date of the Notice to Proceed. Funding for this project is being provided by the Florida Department of Transportation and will be subject to all applicable requirements of the State of Florida Public Transportation Grant Agreement (PTGA) grant assurances. The Tri-County Airport Authority has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program for Airport Improvement Program projects which the successful contract must comply with. The DBE participation goal for this project is 5.86% and compliance requirements are listed in the project documents. The Tri-County Airport Authority reserves the right, it its sole and absolute discretion, to reject, to cancel, or withdraw this bid at any time and waive any irregularities in the bid process. The Authority reserves the right to award any contract to the respondent which it deems to offer the best overall service; therefore, the Authority is not bound to award any contract based on the lowest quoted price. The Authority, in its sole and absolute discretion, also reserves the right to waive any minor defects in the process and to accept the bid deemed to be in the Authority's best interest.
