A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** _Preparation of existing parking lot surface. _Asphalt paving, including proper compaction and finishing. _Striping and marking of parking spaces as per ADA and City specifications. _Ensure appropriate drainage and water runoff control. _Cleanup and proper disposal of construction debris. _Licensed and insured in the State of Florida. _Proof of liability insurance. _References from similar past projects. Quotes should include: _Detailed cost breakdown. _Estimated timeline for project completion. _Warranty information for workmanship and materials. Please include a total of 3 copies titled "RFQ 2025-01 City Hall Parking Lot Paving Project". The City of Bonifay reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive informalities, and to select the quote deemed most advantageous to the City. This Exhibit and Information Provided for This Project Are Intended to Establish Performance Requirements and General Design Intent. They May Not Include All Details, Conditions, or Unknowns That May Arise During Construction. It is the Responsibility of the Bidder to Provide a Complete, Fully Functional, and Operational System As Part of the Base Bid, Regardless of Whether Every Element is Explicitly Depicted or Described. All Work Shall Be Performed in Accordance With All Codes and Requirements and to the Standards of Good Workmanship. The Bidder Shall Undertake All Necessary Site Visits, Reviews, and Investigations to Fully Inform Themselves of the Existing Conditions, Project Requirements, and Overall Scope of Work. The Bidder is Expected to Identify and Address Potential Unknowns and Omissions to the Maximum Extent Practical Prior to Submitting Their Proposal. No Additional Compensation Will Be Considered for Failure to Account for Such Items. 2) the Contractor Shall Contact "sunshine 811" at Least 48 Hours Prior to the Start of Any Earthwork or Excavation to Locate Underground Utilities. 3) the Contractor Shall Field Verify All Existing Conditions and Dimensions Prior to Beginning Construction. Any Discrepancies Shall Be Reported to the Engineer Immediately. 4) the Contractor Shall Be Responsible for the Protection of All Existing Structures, Utilities, Landscaping, Signage, Curbing, and Other Improvements That Are to Remain. 5) Mill Existing Asphalt Pavement 1.0" Depth Avg. 6) Resurface With 1.0" Type Sp Asphalt Concrete, Traffic B. Include Tack Coat at 0.07 Gal/sy Over Milled Asphalt. 7) Include Re-striping of All Existing Pavement Markings. Remove and Reset Any Parking Stops as Necessary. All Traffic Control (Stop Bars, Direction Arrows, Etc)) Pavement Markings Shall Conform to the Latest Edition of the Mutcd and Shall Be Striped With Thermoplastic Material Unless Otherwise Noted. Parking Stall May Be Painted (Min. 4" Thick Striping). 8) for Areas of Severely Cracked Pavement and/or Exposed Base, Sawcut a Min. Of 2-ft Outside the Cracked Area in a Square or Rectangular Area, Remove Asphalt and Existing Base Material a Min. Of 8" Below Existing Adjacent Asphalt and Provide Base Material (Min. Lbr 100) to Bring Base Back to Necessary Level to Match Proposed 1.0" Asphalt Resurfacing. 9)sod All Disturbed Areas Adjacent to Parking Lot. Sod Shall Be of the Same Species as Existing Grass. 10) All Pavement Markings (Stop Bars, Directional Arrows, Etc) Shall Conform to the Latest Edition of the Mutcd and Shall Be Striped With Thermoplastic Material Unless Otherwise Noted. Parking Stall Striping May Be Min. 4" White Painted, but This Shall Be Specified in the Bid if the Bidder is Proposing to Utilize the Painted Markings for the Parking Stalls. 11) Contractor Shall Provide All Necessary Traffic Control and Barricades During Construction in Accordance With Fdot Standards And Local Requirements. 12) Contractor Shall Remove and Legally Dispose of All Construction Debris, Millings, and Excess Material. 13) Contractor Shall Coordinate With the Owner on All Access Requirements and Work Hours to Minimize Disruption to Normal Operations. 14) Contractor Shall Ensure Positive Drainage is Maintained Throughout the Project Area. Finished Surface Shall Be Free of Depressions and Standing Water.
