Bidders shall review the work areas to verify the quantities of work for the project. Bidders must have access to a current set of Box Elder Standard Construction Specifications. All public improvements are required to conform to these specifications and bid prices must reflect these specifications. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier"s check or bank draft in the amount equal to 5% of the total bid or a bid bond in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid. Such bid security shall be a guarantee that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described within the contract documents and will furnish a surety bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract for performance and payment.
