The nature and scope of this contract is: Design, furnish and install a turnkey Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system to replace the Town of Jupiter Water Utilitys existing Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system. The AMI system shall be designed to improve customer experience, provide long term accuracy of water billing, improve meter reading efficiency, and provide the means to monitor flow throughout the distribution system. The AMI system to be installed under this contract shall include all the necessary components and services to setup and run the system, not limited to meters, endpoints, meter box lids, network infrastructure, software, and all other necessary and ancillary components for a complete and functional system. The AMI system should be capable of supporting future additional upgrades such as district metering, pressure monitoring, and water quality monitoring.
